Kids Bedside Tables
Bedside tables for a child's room: small, low and rounded. There are eight, from £90 to £224, 20 or 30 cm wide, most 40 cm tall, all solid mango wood with curved or rounded edges instead of square corners. They are the same furniture we sell for adult bedrooms, not toys, chosen because their size and shape suit a child's bed.

They are listed as solid mango wood, with no glass top. They do not state an anti-tip fitting or cite a children's furniture standard for any of them, so we do not claim one. Treat them as ordinary furniture: a table that small and light can be pulled over, so fix any free-standing furniture in a child's room to the wall, and keep the wall-mounted Coln on fixings that suit your wall.
Which one for which bed
Measure from the floor to the top of the child's mattress, and choose a table within about 5 cm of it. The 40 cm tables suit a mattress top from about 35 to 45 cm, the 50 cm Eden from about 45 to 55 cm. For a bunk or a high sleeper, no floor-standing table can follow the mattress up; the wall-mounted Coln can be fixed level with it. For width, measure the gap beside the bed at its narrowest point and leave about 2 cm: the Eden 20 cm needs 22 cm, the 30 cm tables 32 cm.
Open or closed?
An open box or slot lets a child see and reach a book, a torch or a glass of water; a drawer keeps the clutter out of sight. The 20 cm Eden comes all three ways: open, with one drawer and a slot, or with two drawers.
