There are 14, from £90 when the open Eden is in stock (otherwise £101) to £269, 20 to 45 cm wide, including three sets of two, all in solid mango wood. Does your bed need a low one?
Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress, with the mattress on the bed. If that figure is under about 50 cm, a standard table will stand above the mattress rather than beside it, and one of these will sit closer to level. Aim for the table top within about 5 cm of the mattress top: these suit a mattress top from about 34 to 49 cm. The height guide goes through the measuring.
Low and wide, or low and narrow
Most low tables are small. The exceptions are the 45 cm two-drawer table, 39 cm tall, and the 45 cm Dart with one drawer, 40 cm tall: wide enough for a lamp, a book and a glass side by side on a double or king bed. For a tight gap, the four Eden tables are 20 cm wide; for the most top space, the Swale is 40 × 40 cm with a raised rim that stops things rolling off.
