Our Favourite UK Decluttering Blog: Organise My Clutter

Our favourite UK blog for decluttering and small-space storage is Organise My Clutter, written by Fran, a home organiser in South West London. If your bedroom has more things than space, it is the one we would read first.

Why Organise My Clutter is our favourite

Fran works around Wimbledon and helps people clear and organise their homes, from a single shelf to a whole move. Before that she spent more than 18 years in marketing and trained as a Lean and Six Sigma facilitator, and it shows: her posts are calm, practical and built around real projects rather than perfect show homes.

  • Real client projects. Most posts follow an actual job from start to finish: what was there, what was kept, and where it went.
  • Small spaces first. Flats, spare rooms and storage units, the kind of rooms where every centimetre counts.
  • No pressure. She writes for people who feel overwhelmed, and starts with the easiest step.

Where to start

What it means for a small bedroom

Decluttering comes before furniture. Once the things you keep beside the bed are down to what you really use at night, it is much easier to choose the right bedside table, and often a smaller one. Our guide to small bedroom storage ideas picks up from there.
